1. Overview

TextInvoice (“TextInvoice,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates textinvoice.io, a conversational invoicing and billing platform for independent contractors, freelancers, consultants, and small businesses. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account & Business Profile Data: Your mobile phone number, email address, business name, contact name, business address, tax ID/license number, logo, default invoice notes, and payment link URLs or bank wire instructions that you configure in Business Settings.
  • Invoice & Customer Directory Data: Prompts you type or dictate, line items, amounts, taxes, discounts, and client contact details (names, emails, phone numbers, billing addresses, and preferred payment terms) stored in your workspace.
  • Subscription Billing Metadata: Membership tier status (Free, Starter, Unlimited) processed securely via Stripe. TextInvoice never stores your credit or debit card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical & Security Logs: IP addresses and request timestamps used strictly for rate limiting, OTP brute-force prevention, and abuse protection.

3. SMS / Mobile Messaging Privacy & Carrier Compliance

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or traded with any third parties, except with telecommunications providers strictly necessary to deliver transactional SMS messages you request (such as one-time 6-digit login verification codes, conversational SMS invoice drafting replies, or transactional invoice links).

  • Opt-Out: You or any recipient may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from our toll-free number (including +1 844-834-4555).
  • Support: Reply HELP for assistance or email support@textinvoice.io.
  • Message Frequency & Rates: Message frequency varies based on your sign-in and invoicing activity. Standard message and data rates may apply.

4. How We Use Information

  • Authenticate your account via one-time verification codes (SMS and/or Email).
  • Compile natural-language prompts into structured web invoices and vector PDFs.
  • Deliver invoices and payment notifications to recipients you explicitly specify.
  • Remember your saved client defaults, invoice numbering sequences, and payment preferences.
  • Maintain platform security, prevent fraud, and fulfill legal obligations.

5. Subprocessors & Infrastructure

We rely on industry-standard infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service: Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting, Cloud Firestore database, and Gemini AI structured parsing), Stripe (SaaS subscription billing), Twilio (transactional SMS/WhatsApp delivery), and Resend / SMTP (transactional email delivery). We do not sell customer data or use your private client lists for advertising.

6. Data Retention, Export & Deletion

You retain full ownership of your invoices and customer records. You can export your invoice ledger as CSV at any time from your dashboard, delete individual customers from /customers, or request complete account and data deletion by emailing support@textinvoice.io.
